Can We Start Treatment Directly With Home Wound Care Center?
We accept many types of insurance, including Medicare Part B and Medicare Advantage plans. Our team will first verify coverage for you before starting treatment of any kind.
We do not accept Medicaid.
Insurance Plans Accepted By Home WoundCare Center
Typically 3-5 days. First we verify insurance and may have to gather more information for the insurance provider prior to being approved. Once approved, we will get you on our schedule immediately and our clinical team will provide you with updates and scheduled visit times.
Wait Times To Be Seen For Initial Consultation
Typically once per week. If there is a Home Health company also involved with this patient, we will communicate to them to ensure they can schedule care for the other 6 days of the week, and our practitioners will write notes, communicate treatment plan, and provide regular updates to that Home Health team and any other providers involved in this patient’s care.
